Ms. Dear has greater than 30 years experience in the healthcare industry as a clinician, manager, executive and consultant. A founding principal with AlphaQuest, Pat has extensive background in working with clinical operations and management in acute and post-acute healthcare settings; as a national speaker on revenue cycle process; and as lead investigator for AQ with the Department of Justice in various locations providing resource and industry expertise.

Ms. Dear is a registered nurse and has held certifications in; medical coding; case management; geriatric care management; managed care contracting; critical care and rehabilitation nursing.
 

Paula Stinecipher Digby - Vice-President

Ms. Digby has been in healthcare for more than 20 years with experience in medical coding and billing; auditing and medical coding education and training. A founding principal with AlphaQuest, Paula directs chart to bill audits on behalf of healthcare organizations and physician practices. She has broad experience across multi-physician practice specialties in supervision, management, reimbursement and coding. Paula works on various Department of Justice files as an expert coding resource.

Ms. Digby is certified as a certified coding specialist (CCS) through AHIMA; a certified professional coder (CPC) through the AAPC and a certified coding instructor PMCC with the American Academy of Professional Coders. Paula is a member of the 2007-08 AAPC PMMC education board and a member of ACE with AHIMA.
